Prepare for more than just birth

preparing for parenthood

What if you didn't have to "wing it" as a new parent and figure it all out as you go?

Maybe you've even seen friends or coworkers become parents and share stories of feeling overwhelmed and underprepared... and you want to approach parenthood in a proactive way to minimize those feelings in your own experience.

But you've started looking into the many books, courses, social media accounts, and other resources out there, and you wish someone would synthesize it all into one easy-to-follow, digestible program that includes live access to an expert for questions.

You want to take advantage of the time you have left in your pregnancy rather than trying to cram all of your learning into a one- or two-day childbirth class.

You're here because your family is growing, and you know there has to be a better way to prepare for what's to come.

A comprehensive program and community of support that doesn’t disappear after your baby arrives.

We've got what you're looking for.

This program was designed to change that. While it's true that there is no way to prepare for everything you're about to experience, we can absolutely do a better job preparing new parents for what's to come than we currently do.

We'll prepare you with the essential skills and knowledge you need to prepare for birth, care for your newborn, navigate the emotional rollercoaster, and so much more. And, we'll do it in a way that's optimized for adult learning with bite-sized education, mentorship, community, and ongoing support.

Why didn't anyone tell me?

We've heard too many new parents (including us), asking the question...

A prep class that's so much more than just a Class.

Group learning and Expert support designed to help you begin parenthood with confidence

The New York Times

You like to do your own research.
We get it.

Maybe you're wondering if this is worth the investment of your time, energy, and (let's be honest) money.

After all, you have a lot on your plate right now. There are so many appointments and things to do to get ready for your baby and prepare for the time away from work.

And, you're growing a human. Even if you do have the time, you're not sure you have the energy.

Plus, it likely already feels like you're spending money left and right preparing for your little one. You're wondering: won't my "parental instincts" be enough?

Despite all of this, there's STILL a part of you that would really rather not do it all on your own...and you really DO want to feel prepared for what's next instead of figuring it all out as you go.

Client Love

"From the very beginning, Richelle was genuine, warm, incredibly caring and extremely knowledgeable. I was blown away by the level of support she provided."

LET'S RECAP...

Secure Your Spot

Instincts play an invaluable part in our role as parents. AND, knowledge, support, and realistic expectations are vital supporting characters.

But plenty of parents get by just fine without preparing, right? The truth is, regardless of how it seems on social media, even the most self-assured parents have their moments of doubt and wish they had more guidance.

You don't need to settle for figuring things out as you go. Equip yourself with the answers, information, and support you need.

Our program isn't just another appointment on your calendar; it's an investment in ease, clarity, and tools that can make your life simpler.

Let us help you cut through the noise, equip you with clear information, and provide you with practical guidance as you navigate pregnancy and prepare for what's to come.

You don't need to navigate parenthood on instincts alone.

Our founder has been practicing as a doula, childbirth educator, and lactation educator in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2020. Christina Klein - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Christina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private therapy practice in Marin County (San Francisco Bay Area). What's the time commitment? Are the sessions recorded?

What's the time commitment? Are the sessions recorded?

The Time Commitment:
The core component of this program is the group calls, which are held LIVE on Zoom. Each call is approximately 90-minutes long, and they're usually hosted on Saturday mornings to make it easier for more folks to join. There are six live group calls held over 12 weeks.

Participation Commitment:
To get the most value out of this experience, we ask that folks commit to showing up and participating in those calls. There are things you can do between calls if you have the time. However, if showing up for those calls is all you do, you'll still be ahead of the game!

Recordings Policy:
We don't record sessions because we believe it's more important to create a safe space for open and honest sharing during discussions. Our commitment to privacy helps us make sure everyone to feel safe being vulnerable while discussing sensitive topics.

The good news is, the combination of the live calls, a resource library, and ongoing community support provides flexibility "when life happens" while preserving the integrity and intimacy of the group experience.

Who exactly is this program for? Are partners welcome?

Who exactly is this program for? Are partners welcome?

This program was designed with birthing mothers in mind, which means that is the primary audience we were considering when building this curriculum.

That being said, our program is designed to deliver a tailored and inclusive experience for more than just that audience, including:

Birthing parents who don't identify as "mothers."
We are committed to using inclusive language to create a safe space for everyone who needs and deserves support preparing for birth and parenthood.

Primary Caregivers who aren't giving birth.
The only session that may not feel relevant to you is the session on preparing for birth (unless, of course, you will be supporting someone else through labor and birth, such as a partner, surrogate, or biological parent).

Partners
We are here for the partners who want to be equally as informed and prepared. So, we welcome partners to join any and all sessions. Have your partner join for 1 or 2 sessions, or invite them to join all 6!

The best part about leading small groups in this way is that we can tailor the content specifically to each group and it's unique makeup of participants!

What's the cost? Are there any payment options or plans?

What's the cost? Are there any payment options or plans?

Investing in our "Preparing for Parenthood" program is not just about a price tag; it's an investment in your well-being, support, and preparation as you embark on this incredible journey. Here's how we've structured the cost to make it as accessible as possible:

  • Full Payment Option: You can choose to pay for the entire program upfront for a one-time payment of $597 USD. This is perfect if you prefer to make a single payment and have everything taken care of right away.

  • Payment Plans: We understand that financial flexibility is essential, especially during this significant life transition. That's why we offer various payment plan options, allowing you to spread the cost over several installments. You can either make 2 monthly payments of $299 USD ($598 total) or 3 monthly payments of $199 USD ($597 total). For the payment plans, you'll make your first payment at signup. Additional payments will be processed automatically one time per month until all payments have been made.

  • Sliding Scale Spaces: We are committed to making this program accessible to a wide range of families. We have a limited number of sliding scale spaces in each group, which allows us to accommodate various financial situations. For more information about this opportunity, please email hello@frompregnanttoparent.com.

We believe that preparation, support, and knowledge should be accessible to every future parent. We've created these options to help ensure that no one misses out on this vital resource due to financial reasons.

How long will I have access to the resources and community?

How long will I have access to the resources and community?

All group calls will be completed within 12 weeks of the first call unless otherwise communicated to the group.

If you'd like to continue to be a member of the From Pregnant to Parent Village after that time, you'll have the option to join as a member at the current monthly rate.

If any of this changes, we're committed to communicating these updates via email to all of our impacted members.

What support will I get during and after the program?

During the program, you'll have access to support during our live calls, in our online community, and through optional add-ons.

Live Calls
During every group coaching call, there is time for discussion and questions.

Online Community
Between calls, this is your space to "show your work," ask for additional resources, seek guidance, and share more about your pregnancy experience. The internet can be a scary place during pregnancy and early parenthood, so we encourage group members to use this space! There are no silly questions, and we work hard to make sure it's a judgment-free zone!

Optional Add-Ons
Members of our groups also have the option to purchase private coaching sessions at a discounted rate if there's something you want to discuss in more detail.

After the Program
We will keep the group community space open for up to two (2) years after the start of the first group call. However, our coaches will no longer be active participants in this space.

Want support from our coaches after the program?
All group members are also currently given access to our broader online community, The From Pregnant to Parent Village, for an entire year after the start of the first group call. If you'd like to continue to be a member of the From Pregnant to Parent Village after that time, you'll have the option to join as a member at the current monthly rate.

You also have the option to join another group if there is one applicable to your current phase, or you can book a private coaching call with one of our coaches. Click here to view our other offerings.

How is this different from other options out there?

How is this different from other options out there?

Our program is uniquely designed to go beyond traditional childbirth and parenting preparation classes, focusing on an integrated, holistic approach. There are plenty of options out there offering one piece of our program, but we don't see many (if any) options out there that offer such a comprehensive program that includes all of these pieces:

  • Expert Guidance: Our coaches are highly qualified and specialized in their fields. We're not just doulas, therapists, or parental leave coaches--we're all of these and more. Our collective expertise ensures you receive well-rounded support.
  • Tailored Experience: The program is not a one-size-fits-all approach. The curriculum is the same every time, but we also recognize the uniqueness of each participant and tailor the content to suit the individual needs and makeup of the group.
  • Inclusive Approach: We strive to use inclusive language and make space for all birthing parents, primary caregivers, and their partners, recognizing diverse family structures and needs.
  • Live Interaction & Community Support: Unlike many pre-packaged online courses, our program includes live Zoom calls, facilitating real-time interaction, discussion, and support. The community space for discussion between sessions fosters connections and provides additional guidance.
  • Comprehensive Curriculum: From preparing for childbirth to navigating early parenthood, our curriculum covers a wide spectrum of topics. It's not just about birth preparation but also building realistic expectations, mental wellness, and the long-term enjoyment of parenthood.
  • Long-Term Access to Resources: We provide access to our resource library and community space for up to two years, ensuring continued support and a space for connection well after the program's completion.
  • Optional Private Coaching: For those looking for more personalized attention, we offer the option to add private coaching sessions at a discounted rate.
  • Emphasis on Safe Space: We prioritize creating a safe and judgment-free zone, encouraging open and honest discussions about sensitive topics, something that may not be available in more conventional settings.
  • Payment Flexibility: We offer multiple payment options and a limited number of sliding scale spots to make the program as accessible as possible to a broader audience.
  • No-Questions-Asked Refund Policy: Our commitment to your satisfaction is backed by a straightforward refund policy if the program does not meet your expectations or you decide it's not for you after our first group call.

In a landscape filled with diverse offerings, our program emphasizes personalization, inclusivity, ongoing support, and expertise. We're not just preparing you for birth; we're preparing you for parenthood, providing a comprehensive and nurturing environment unlike anything else available.
